Day 1: 2-Man Team Handicapped Scramble Match Play
• Team members tee off on each hole and then decide which tee shot they like the best. The other team member places their ball within one club length no closer to the hole and in the same position (i.e., must stay in rough or sand trap, etc.), and the same spot when on the green. This continues until the ball is holed.
• Two matches are played; the first 9 holes and the 2nd 9 holes; one point for each match goes to the winning team and a half point for ties.
Day 2: 2-Man Team Handicapped Four Ball (aka 2-man Best Ball) Match Play
• Two partners play together, with each player playing their own ball. A team’s score for a hole is the lower net handicap score of the two partners on that hole.
• Two matches are played; the first 9 holes and the 2nd 9 holes; one point for each match goes to the winning team and a half point for ties.
Day 3: 2-Man Team Handicapped Shamble Best Ball Match Play
• Team members tee off, the best shot is selected (similar to a scramble) and both players play their own ball from that point. The lowest net handicap score from each 2-man team (not both scores – as in past years) is used to determine match play results for each hole.
• Two matches are played; the first 9 holes and the 2nd 9 holes; two points for each match goes to the winning team and a one point for ties.
Handicaps (decimals are truncated):
• Day 1 Scramble handicaps: 25% of your combined 2-man team tournament handicap.
• Day 2 Best Ball handicaps: 80% of your individual tournament handicap.
• Day 3 Shamble handicaps: 50% of your individual tournament handicap.
